Description:
A Special Needs School in Enfield are currently looking to recruit an individual who has experience working as a care assistant or supported young people with physical disabilities.

The School in Enfield have recently renovated their facilities to improve the learning environment for its pupils. They cater to students from 2-19 years of age all of whom have a statement of special educational needs including Autism, Down Syndrome and complex physical disabilities.

Successful applicants will have experience:

* Supporting young people/adults with personal care and toileting needs

* Able to provide 1:1 support to those with physical disabilities

* Be interactive and engaging whilst working with physically disabled students. You will be supporting students across KS1 and KS2 with physical disabilities, following their tailored education health care plan and writing daily reports reviewing their plan. Each student will need additional support in personal care needs such as toileting. Care assistants must show willingness and ability to encourage students to follow their care plan as well as liaise with teachers in the classroom.
