A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional interested in using their database management skills to join the Business Insight team as a Business Insight Officer.

At St Mungo’s our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. As a homelessness charity and housing association our clients are at the heart of what we do. We provide a bed and support to more than 2,700 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and work to end homelessness and rebuild lives.

As we continue to grow and develop, we are looking for an enthusiastic data management professional to join the team as a Business Insight Officer to further strengthen our Business Insight team.

You will have the ability to help manage and maintain our main service user database and have a real appreciation of the importance of data quality and integrity. You will provide helpdesk and training support to our staff and fully contribute to projects and the wider work of the team. Additionally, you will be confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and have the ability to explain technical concepts in an easy to understand manner.

In the role of Business Insight Officer you will help the Business Insight team ensure our main (Salesforce CRM) database used to monitor and evidence the quality, outcomes and impact of our services, meets business needs and provides a flexible platform for growth. You will support the production of data of the highest accuracy and quality. This will inform and support the development and delivery of our highly innovate services, helping to ensure they continue to meet the needs of homeless people. This will also help affect real change at national level through its use in our ground-breaking campaigns and research.

We are committed to supporting the personal and professional development of our staff and provide a wide range of learning and development opportunities to this end. Working as part of the Business Insight team, within the wider Business Excellence division, there will be lots of scope to grow, develop and contribute.

We are committed to a healthy work life balance and are offering this position on both a full-time and part-time (minimum 30 hours) basis. We offer flexible working hours and a range of other benefits including a pension scheme and a staff discounts scheme.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope you can join us to help end homelessness and rebuild lives. Enquiries from candidates are welcome, please contact Ralf Vergeldt (Head of Business Insight) – . Enquiries from agency consultants wanting to submit candidates for the role are respectfully declined.
