Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a HR Business Partner for 12 months to cover maternity leave and be part of our motivated and fast-paced HR team.

This role is a regional role, and you’ll ideally be based in the Oxford or Aylesbury area and be prepared for regular travel

You will be providing HR solutions to support the business plans across the group and managing complex HR projects across various functions.

What you’ll be doing:

Working in conjunction with Business Leader(s) identifying appropriate HR solutions that improve the business

Supporting and leading end to end change and restructuring programmes

Supporting the ER Team with complex grievances/disciplinary/staff case management and poor performance processes

Actively identifying business people related risks and gaps. Proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks

Successfully managing any TUPE situation, to minimise business risk and supporting positive Industrial Relations frameworks with Trade Unions

Supporting the building and effective development of high performing teams, including advising on roles, responsibilities, structure, team profiling and team improvement plans

Influencing manager’s behaviours and activities to be supportive of our Group policies, procedures and practices

Encouraging Business Leaders to promote good business principles such as collaboratively working together-cross functionally, promoting positive health and wellness, flexible working practices and recruiting for traits and attitudes

Supporting HR Central Services on all Group related matters including Group reward and compensation strategy, central administration procedures, data protection protocols, harmonisation, business continuity planning and HR diagnostics and Group reporting

About you…

• Excellent generalist HR experience

• A strong understanding of UK employment law

• Change management experience

• Experience of working in a unionised environment would be a big benefit

• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers
