Description:
The Business Development Managers (BDM) main responsibility is to generate new business for Tryzens, specifically in the retail Digital Commerce space. This includes, but not limited to, building up and maintaining a target list of potential clients, pitching to potential new clients, “cold calling” potential new clients and having a thorough understanding of the Digital Commerce business, as well as an understanding of other Tryzens products.

It is expected that the BDM has a deep understanding of the Digital Commerce space and a proven track record of driving growth through a variety of different tactics, as well as demonstrable examples of taking a client from initial conversation, through to pitch, and finally to signed contract

Key Personal Responsibilities

Business Development

Work with and expand current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business Develop a sales contact plan to include cold-calling, attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects and sending out targeted marketing material Respond to incoming Requests for Information(RFIs), Requests for Proposals(RFPs) in a professional and creative manner Understand a prospect’s business needs and work with the expert teams in the business to develop a tailored digital solutions proposal Creating and delivering innovative sales presentations to pitch to Director & C-level Manage and Complete Tenders, RFI’s, & RFP’s. Negotiating with 3rd Parties suppliers and end customers Work closely with colleagues in Tryzens to identify common new business prospects and cross-sell integrated solution propositions Represent Tryzens at industry events, including round tables, speaking forums and new business events Work closely with Marketing to identify appropriate go to market messaging for specific business sectors Knowledge Sharing, learning & development

Enhance own development by taking responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry knowledge Work closely with the business to develop new business proposals Work closely with the client service, operations, technical and implementation teams to demonstrate Tryzens expertise at new business pitches Contribute to the learning environment by identifying areas where there is potential for learning and building knowledge with others Adopt the performance management scheme by setting objectives, participating in performance reviews and building a personal development plan Key Relationships

Sales Director & CEO Client Support & Account Management Marketing team Technical delivery teams Professional Requirements

Proven track record in consultative selling Have a comprehensive understanding of digital and ecommerce solutions Experience responding to formal RFIs & RFPs for large brand & retail businesses Experience dealing with businesses at Head of E-Commerce, Marketing Director and above Ability to interact with and influence multiple sales channels Experience developing effective tactical marketing strategies to support sales acquisition Experience in re-positioning products and services through the sales process would be advantageous Ability to manage and track lead generation and a sales pipeline through CRM system Personal Requirements

Tenacious & creative sales approach Driven and motivated by results Passionate about eCommerce and digital solutions Strong presenter and negotiator Excellent written skills Organised with good attention to detail A self-starter who can spot new opportunities Have a team player mindset and work collaboratively with Commercial and other internal teams STRICTLY NO AGENCIES
