Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Computer Science teacher to work within one of highly reputable client schools located in Welwyn Garden City.

* Full-time, term time only

* April or September start for the fitting applicant

* Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)

Due to staff relocation, the school now has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of Computer Science to join the schools ICT department from April 2019. The successful Computer Science teacher will be required until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue until April 2020.

At our client school, Computer Science is engaging and practical, encouraging creativity and problem solving. It encourages students to develop their understanding and application of the core concepts in computer science. Students also analyse problems in computational terms and devise creative solutions by designing, writing, testing and evaluating programs. The school works on the OCR GCSE and A Level Computer Science curriculum therefore someone with experience in teaching this curriculum would be desirable.

Our client school is a 14-19 mainstream School, a specialist maths and computing academy. The school is a larger than average college with a higher intake of students from September 2019. Subjects that students are able to study include TV & Film Production, Interactive Media & Gaming, Photography, Graphic Design, Digital Applications and Computer Science.
