As a Content Manager in Starling you will own and develop the blog content roadmap that contributes to the growth of the company and keeping in touch with our customers. We need someone with enthusiasm and passion to work with our team to grow the Starling brand.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with the heads of Corporate Affairs, SEO & Web, Marketing and Social Media to define the roadmap for the blog to provide useful and engaging content for existing customers, as well as creating content to target new customers. Use keyword research shared by the SEO team you will understand the wants and needs of existing customers and prospective customers. Working with the Head of Corporate Affairs, commission, write and edit copy and manage its distribution on the website and, where appropriate, other channels. Take ownership of the content production - from idea conception, to briefing or writing, proofreading and editing. Own and measure the performance of the blog. Looking at website traffic and conversion rates to understand what’s working well, and what’s less so. Keep up to date with industry news and best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites. Source images and commission photography to illustrate copy. Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team meets deadlines. About you

Strong interest in blogging (and you’re willing to learn more about SEO). Excellent writing skills. Filled with new content ideas. Be a doer. This is a role for someone who’s prepared to be very hands on. Background in SEO / Digital Marketing / Journalism / PR. Understanding of the importance of reliable data, independent reporting and financial services regulation. Experienced in managing the production of content in a variety of formats including, written, infographic, video and interactive. Experience in video scripting and product would be a benefit, but not required. Benefits
