Salesforce technical lead (hands on) required for Wunderman Thompson Commerce in Watford. We need someone who has also gained experience with Application architecture.

You’ll be a heavy hitting tech expert across the Salesforce suite of services in particular Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This is a new and exciting role within our growing Salesforce practice who will service B2C and B2B customers across Wunderman Thompson Commerce.

In return, we will develop your career, train you on the latest and greatest tools, software and processes and give you exposure to the some of the most interesting B2C / B2B multi cloud SF implementation projects (Commerce, Service, Marketing, Sales) as you help us to shape and grow Salesforce practice within a global commerce consultancy at the forefront of the digital commerce industry.

Here’s what your project & SFCC practice responsibilities look like:

Hands on technical development owner of all salesforce code and application architecture within SFCC projects (we do expect you to be hands on within projects leading from the front in the short /medium term as the practice grows) Ensuring our SFCC development team follow SFCC build best practice and coding standards Responsible for adhering to the Security & Data standards set out by Wunderman Thompson Commerce and our clients Working within an Agile or Waterfall delivery approach depending on the client engagement and being a champion of the process (ensuing technical ways of working are appropriate to the project) Staying up to date and on all new features and roadmap items being released by Salesforce as part of the Commerce cloud development roadmap Work with wider client teams (Account Director & Pre-sales team) to work on Salesforce RFPs & pitches ensuring that our solution propositions are accurate and in line with Salesforce solution standards You...

The techy bit….we need you to be really great at:

Client facing senior dev / hands on application architect. Skills required are:

Extensive experience within technical Salesforce/ experience Experience in Java development including solid experience in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS and CSS, SQL Proficiency in development environment including IDE, migration tools, SOSL, SOQL, and web services Understanding of VisualForce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience Strong Salesforce field sales experience Good exposure to Salesforce marketing communities / salesforce portal Experience of Data Migration from Salesforce and/or other systems Integration experience - ESB integration from salesforce Web Services development or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData, etc.) Experience working in an Agile project Understanding of Salesforce App builder, SFDC Platform Developer I Certification If you know some of this even better!
