The Opportunity

It’s an exciting time to join Nobly POS. We’re growing our finance and operations department and need a specialist in Business Intelligence / Analysis to ensure we are making the most of our data and keeping financially on track. The role has an international remit, supporting offices in Melbourne, Montevideo, Austin, and London. Reporting to one of our Co-Founders, you will be in touch with lots of challenging decisions and unique opportunities to learn and make an impact.

About the role

Creating regular BI reporting, providing visibility of customer-focused KPIs

Identifying and tracking customer behaviour through marketing & sales analysis

Creating and automating reports to assist in evaluating and continually improving business performance

Appraising and challenging the financial aspects of upcoming large-value contracts

Creating models for estimates and forecasts

Supporting with digital marketing analysis i.e. social media research & analysis; content strategy; traffic estimation; competitor analysis; blog research

Carrying out sales business intelligence analysis i.e. sales patterns; productivity; pricing; opportunity management

Preparing Management Accounts and variance analysis for review with the wider team to aid decision making

Providing monthly reporting to C-Founder of P&L and quarterly reporting of Balance Sheet

Ensuring all capital expenditure is captured and accounted for correctly; various ongoing financial support


As a motivated self-starter, you’ll be passionate about solving problems that combine data, finance, and technology, developing the use of data to drive business performance.

A numerate, inquisitive natural problem solver with significant experience using data to facilitate business decisions

Analytics experience specializing in customer insight, business reporting, management information, marketing

Extremely adept with various forms of data, including extracting, formatting, analyzing, presenting and making valuable recommendations

Knowledge of reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or similar

Comfortable defining and using metrics to manage the performance of the business

Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel

Hands-on approach and ability to adapt quickly in a fast growing start-up

Team-centric attitude – we’re a small, close-knit team with many interdependencies and need colleagues who think with a team mindset (accountability, respect, collaboration, open-mindedness)

Excellent communication & presentation skills

Hungry to be in a challenging environment in a fast-growing tech company

Financial Analysis experience would be a plus

Salesforce Administration (desirable)

API integration knowledge (desirable)
