BUSINESS ASSURANCE MANAGER / LONDON / 3-6 MONTH FTC / UP TO £50,000 (PRO RATA)+ BENEFITS

As the Business Assurance Manager, you will drive and embed a proportionate and forward looking approach to risk management, ensuring appropriate controls are in place, risk appetite is defined and programmes of testing are undertaken to report on control effectiveness.

This is a 3-6 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Assurance Manager:

- Develop proportionate first line risk management information across Growth, such that it informs senior management of key risks and the effectiveness of controls

- Ensure risk appetite is agreed and embed into reporting 

- Develop MI that informs senior management of the business profiles and associated risks

- Ensure an appropriate control testing programme is documented

- Ensure a view is taken on emerging and future risks

Skills & Experience Required:

- Ideally CF6/ ER1 (or equivalent), or equivalent evidential experience

- Working knowledge of the savings regulatory regime

- Good knowledge of the overall regulatory regime covering mortgages (MCOB) 

- Detailed knowledge of the mortgage market products, risks

- Experience at developing and designing control test programmes and risk related MI

- Analytical skills

- Excellent report writing skills 

- Intermediate level Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- Excellent verbal and people interaction skills
