Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a you to join us as a Team Leader of Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) as part of our Audit and Investigation team within the UKs leading judiciary company.

You will be responsible for overseeing the Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) team ensuring all DSAR’s are dealt with within service level agreements (SLA) set by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)

Key elements of the role:

Dealing with any press enquiries/serious DSAR’s/BWV, providing reports to the Communications Team and/or a Director

Ensure compliance with all current and future legislation as detailed in company training manuals and all internal company policies and procedures to include DSAR and BWV.

Seek approval for footage to be released.

Responsible for the Group’s body worn video cameras, ensuring that data is downloaded daily by all enforcement agents, reporting non-compliance to line managers.

Viewing of video footage, downloading and editing of video evidence within Data Protection Act (DPA) guidelines.

Deal with telephone calls/queries from other departments in a timely efficient and polite manner

Highlight down falls with relevant managers regarding internal SLA’s (receiving DSAR’s, Delay in BWV footage / calls)

Approve / quality check responses being issued in the department

Feedback concerns from calls and footage to relevant managers

Ensuring DSAR’s are monitored daily/weekly to make sure we attain our Set SLA

Log all DSAR/BWV on the tracking spreadsheet and Service Desk

Oversee team holidays ensuring work is covered accordingly

Log and monitor any team illness and be the first contact for team members to call to advise of illness

Organising and preparing objectives for six monthly and yearly appraisals

Training of new team members

The ideal candidate must have:

Experience in a supervisory or team leader role

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in MS Office; specifically, Excel, Word

Ability to work in a team

Organisation skills

Excellent attention to detail
