We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team for an initial three month fixed-term contract, based in our Shoreditch hub. The role reports to our UK & EMEA Financial Controller and will focus on supporting the UK-based Finance team by processing invoice and expense transactions through the month, preparing periodic (AP and Expense) payment runs, assisting in the month-end close and supporting ad hoc projects.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be part of the team that delivers this within the UK & EMEA.

Your day-to-day will include:

Support the day-to-day Accounts Payable process for UK, EMEA and South Africa Ensure accurate coding of invoices and receipts on the subledger systems and within the ledger (NetSuite) Assist with month end close process Assist with the migration of the Australian AP and expense processes into London You will be responsible for:

Accounts payable process - Ensuring the AP ledger is properly maintained and items correctly coded Regional expense reports - Ensuring expense items are appropriate for policy and escalated to manager as required Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Review receipts and transactions on a weekly basis to ensure they are coded correctly and will be posted to the correct Department CC and GL. Our ideal candidate will have understanding of typical AP and expense processes and a working knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis. They will enjoy working as part of a sociable team on business-critical tasks and will be a strong and effective communicator. Ideally they will have prior knowledge of NetSuite, but at the very least will be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
