We are seeking a highly-skilled, motivated and experienced Registered Manager for a spacious home registered to accommodate up to 5 young people aged 11-18 years with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.

The aim’s of the home are to ensure a safe, homely and therapeutic environment for young people who are vulnerable and may be at risk of CSE.

My client offers a bonus and tier structure for their managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day to day running of the Home in line with the homes policies and procedures, Ofsted requirements and Local Authorities' expectations Take on call responsibilities when required Building relationships with children/young people to support them build self-esteem and assist in the development of new techniques to improving their behaviour To promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each child/young person Implementing strategies such as planned daily activities, coordinated treatment interventions, organised recreational and social activities To be required to provide appropriate guidance and support to staff Attend regular training and development opportunities to maintain up to date knowledge and safeguarding, health and safety and local policy developments Undertake administrative tasks, maintain effective recording systems Working with children with challenging and emotional behaviour in a residential care setting Leading and managing a team of support workers - recruitment, retention, supervision and development Financial management Managing stakeholder relationships and community engagement Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management or equivalent At least 2 years’ experience of supervising and managing staff Child protection level 3 designated person Training. Benefits

Annual Leave 20 days plus the bank holidays Bonus and tier structure with salary dependent on experience the bonus is worked out considering, internal and external compliance and QA outcomes, inspection outcomes and occupancy levels Provide all mandatory training Child protection/safeguard lead level 3 training to hold a designated safeguard lead role other training would be discussed through internal monthly panel meetings, supervision and appraisal Closing date: 29th March 2019
