We are looking for a driven, analytically minded individual to join the Direct Marketing team as a Campaign Marketing Manager, reporting into the Direct Marketing Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is creative and interested in using large data sources within marketing automation platforms to drive lead generation into the business. As a business, we have made - and continue to make - significant investment into our infrastructure: the role of Campaign Marketing Manager will require you to evaluate how best to use said infrastructure by creating, building and launching campaigns to SMEs across the UK. This will require you to work with many teams across the business - including our content, business intelligence and compliance teams - as well as with external partners. You will be joining Growth Street at an exciting time as we scale our in-house Marketing function and grow our brand’s presence across the country.

The Marketing team consists of five people, focused on three key areas: brand and PR, partnerships, and direct marketing. Direct Marketing is a new team, expanding to three people, with our main objective being to drive good quality leads into the sales pipeline. We are also responsible for nurturing prospects that are in the sales pipeline with an additional aim of increasing conversion rates and the number of live clients.

Working within the engine room of the Commercial team, you will be exposed to the strategic decision making that goes into supporting Growth Street’s commercial plans and expected to contribute to our borrower acquisition strategy more broadly.

Key responsibilities

Optimise campaign effectiveness by: a) apportioning the direct marketing budget by channel, and b) monitoring ongoing campaign performance through test and learn cycles. Build, and contribute to, engagement strategies for prospective borrowers across email, direct mail, telemarketing and other digital channels. Plan and build campaign workflows that are able to work alongside event triggers in our CRM. Identify sectors and regions that Growth Street could target as well as carrying out regular competitor analysis. Work with Business Development Managers to pick up trends in the marketplace, creating a feedback loop between Sales and Marketing. Hold regular sessions with Business Change and Business Intelligence in order to optimise our infrastructure and marketing processes. Keep the wider business in sync with Direct Marketing activity and performance. Requirements

Previous experience:One to four years of work experience in a marketing role (previous startup experience is not essential but preferred) Experience working with Pardot (or another marketing automation tool) Previous experience working within a B2B environment is preferred Competencies:Data driven - you are comfortable using data sets to build and execute campaigns. Tech savvy – you are enthusiastic about technology and have a passion for innovation and new ideas. Collaborative – you seek first to understand and then to be understood. You communicate your actions and intentions clearly, both verbally and in a written format. Proactive – you have a proactive attitude towards problems. You pay attention to detail and think about the implications of what you are doing. An attractive CV or highly relevant work experience alone aren’t the only indicators of the best role and culture fit. You should be able to see yourself in the above list of values and competencies. During the interview stages, you will be assessed against each of them to ensure this is the role for you!

We’re dedicated to thinking about what customers need, now and in the future, and going out of our way to beat expectations. The role is based out of our London office.
