Requirements

What is Client Sales?

Client Sales is a new and privileged position selling into senior stakeholders and the C-Suite across the existing PatSnap client base. As part of a newly formed team the Client Sales Executive is a high impact individual contributor position responsible for cross and upselling the PatSnap solution into existing client territory. The Client Sales Executive will nurture and self-source new business within existing customers and work in collaboration with the Account Management team to drive growth across the PatSnap accounts. 

What can I expect to do?

You will be focused on monetising the extensive mid-market client base and broadening the PatSnap tech footprint in the assigned territory. As part of a brand new team you will be contributing to the development of sales strategy through input of ideas and suggestions to the senior management team You will proactively self-source and nurture your own opportunities in the client base working in collaboration with the Account Management team to ensure a consistent pipeline of product upsell and cross sell opportunities. You will present the PatSnap value proposition flawlessly by carrying out non- technical demos. Working collaboratively with the Account Management and Customer Success teams to ensure that set up and on-boarding of incremental cross and upsells happens quickly and effectively. You have proven experience closing new business sales within the corporate mid-market/enterprise space. You demonstrate solution-based sales methodology. You have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities You are highly customer centric and are driven by having a positive impact on PatSnap's customers  You are highly presentable, unflustered and relish the opportunity to deal with all manner of clients, in environments that others would consider challenging You had a successful track record of performance against set quota targets and KPIs for client sales-based activities. You have commercial experience across multiple industries and geographies What are the challenges?

Our structure is relatively flat and non-hierarchical, and egos don't fly here so no job is too big or too small, we all get stuck in to make the business successful, so you better get ready to roll up your sleeves! Expansion is a major theme, so as you can expect we are facing new situations and market opportunities which we've not encountered previously, therefore these isn’t always someone's footsteps to follow, you will need to be able to work as a pioneer, carving the path and sharing your learnings with your colleagues.
