£16,000 - £22,000 per annum

Looking to pursue a career in Estimating or Quantity Surveying, within Construction?

We are looking for a Trainee Estimator or a Trainee Quantity Surveyor with an enthusiastic approach to join a busy team.

You will have some experience and training in construction estimating, or quantity surveying.

This client has a lot of support to offer when it comes to qualifications and training within this position.

Basic day to day duties:

- Reviewing tender documents

- Sourcing and sending out packages

- Measurement & Preparing Bill of quantities

- Creating excel documents to assist in tender process

- Work to stringent deadlines

- Chasing specialist prices to enable the estimating team to complete the bid

- Sorting documents in to trades specific packages

- Saving documents on our system in a managed order

- Updating schedules and trackers for the tender process

- Preparing price breakdowns and due diligence on pricing received

- Collating bid information

- Assisting the Quality team with Bid submission

The successful applicant will work alongside one of the estimators and will report to the directors of the company.

It is a desirable to have an HNC in quantity surveying or construction management. However if you have an interest in completing a HNC, the client is happy to discuss training for the right candidate.
