About us

Marshall E-Learning was established in 2002 as a specialist in online diversity training. We specialise in customised online training built in our London office. We have an extensive portfolio of 50+ training courses ranging from unconscious bias, mental health and bystander training to management development training with inclusion as a theme running throughout our work.

We work with long-standing high profile clients including University of Oxford, Eversheds, Hitachi, Houses of Parliament, Barnardo’s, Scottish Parliament and Ofcom.

About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join the team at a key time of company development and growth. The prime purpose of your role will be to own the relationship with our clients. It will be your responsibility to ensure that we’re providing excellent customer service, as well as maximising opportunities to grow Marshall E-Learning business through identifying opportunities to upsell products from the Marshall portfolio.

In addition, you will follow up on new business leads, nurturing the relationship over time and ensuring that we are ‘front of mind’ when they are looking to purchase E-Learning services.

Whilst your main contact with clients is likely to be via email and phone, you will also lead face to face meetings with clients where needed. You will engage with staff at all levels within our client organisations, from senior leaders through to finance contacts.

You will also project manage new projects with clients, working alongside them to create the brief, prepare the costings, project plan and timeline and then delivering a final product within budget, on time and to the satisfaction of the client.

There is a real opportunity to be strategic and help the company to develop it’s approach to managing client relationships effectively - we will be looking to you to lead the way.

In order to enable you to carry out the role effectively, you will develop an in depth understanding of our offer and the field of E-Learning.

Role Description - duties will include:

Managing relationships with all clients Upselling new offers to existing clients Dealing with day to day support requests from clients and ensuring that they are responded to quickly and efficiently Where appropriate, scheduling and leading on-site client meetings Completing and sending proposals for new pieces of work and managing the process of taking that through to a sale, then managing the relationship over time Following up on, and nurturing the relationship with new leads Project managing bespoke E-Learning projects . Championing use of the CRM (HubSpot) within the company and ensuring that you solely use HubSpot for account management purposes Contributing to, and sharing ideas regarding, our Marketing approach. Work pattern / hours

This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week).

In terms of location we are open to discussion around how this could work. We’d be happy for the role to be 100% office based but we can also consider other arrangements (e.g part home-working). However, you would need to base yourself a minimum of 2 days per week from the office in Bankside for your first 3 months in post (probation period). At the end of the probation period, we would be open to a minimum of 1 day per week in the office with the remainder of your time working remotely.

In terms of working hours, again we are open to discussion around this. The majority of your working hours would need to be completed during the ‘standard’ working day to enable you to interact with clients. However, it may be that some of your workload could be completed during the evenings to afford greater flexibility to the role. All work patterns would need to be agreed in advance.
