Thrive Tribe is also growing! We’ve recently been awarded a new contract in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to deliver a ONE YOU branded healthy lifestyle service. We’re recruiting a new Partnership & Training Officer to support our delivery staff with referral generation duties and to create prospering local partnerships. The role holder will also play a leading role in developing our new ‘Making Every Contact Count’ (MECC) training package, delivering education sessions to a variety of health and community stakeholders.

The role will sit in the London Partnership Team, providing support and training delivery to our local ONE YOU services. The post-holder will be directly responsible for local partnerships and training in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, while also coordinating the delivery of MECC across both Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea & the City of Westminster.

Main Duties

However, so you know what to expect, here are the initial main duties for this role:

Help maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values. Forge effective and successful local relationships with key stakeholders across health and community settings, benefiting Thrive Tribe services. Foster strong links with primary care and GP settings, ensuring patient groups are aware of our free services. This will involve working with practice staff and using GP patient databases. Represent ONE YOU services in stakeholder meetings and local network forums in a respectable manner, reviewing and innovating existing stakeholder partnerships. Deliver messages and procedures in promoting ONE YOU services to the correct target groups in line with service KPI’s. Focusing on marginalised groups, with an emphasis on BME engagement and areas of deprivation. Act as lead practitioner of ONE YOU MECC offered within the service, playing a core role to the service achieving externally set targets. Further develop the suite of training within ONE YOU services, with MECC training a key part of this. Supporting other training delivery staff and coordinating training sessions across boroughs. Play a leading role in implementing health campaigns at a local service level, including Stoptober, Health Harms, Active10 etc. Support the Partnership & Digital Engagement Officer with service related social media and updating website content. Provide localised content for the Referral Generation & Partnership Manager to feed in to service reports, produced for local authority commissioners. Proactively engage with internal staff from varying services and attend internal meetings where necessary, including Partnership Team meetings. Ensure due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance. Salary: £25,000 – 27,000 per year

Location: Kensington, with regular travel throughout the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. There is a possibility that in December 2019 the position’s borough of responsibility may change.

Requirements

More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart into their work and communicates superbly with colleagues and stakeholders. You’ll also need to relate strongly to our values, as they run through everything we do, and have an interest in health and wellbeing. Of course, we are also looking for some experience for this role, as follows:

A proven ability to build professional relationships with people from a wide range of health and community backgrounds. A familiarity or is adaptable to using varying IT systems, including engaging with GP patient databases (Systm1) and communication tools (MailChimp etc.). A local awareness of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea resident demographics, key location and contacts. A confident presentation style and group facilitation skills, particularly experience in delivering training sessions. An understanding of local health and community landscapes, including Public Health funded services, CCG commissioned services and other third sector organisations. Benefits
